Case study · ETHConf New York · June 2026
Three shelter dogs walked into a Web3 conference.
Everyone left understanding why blockchain matters for animal welfare.
Wallets and smart contracts feel abstract. A rescue dog doesn't.
Concepts like wallets, digital identity and on-chain records still feel distant to many people outside the industry. So we built the activation around a cause everyone gets: helping rescue dogs find support, visibility and permanent homes.

Brought the dogs to the conference

- 02
Let people meet them
Attendees met the dogs, discovered their stories and supported the participating shelter.

Every dog deserves to be seen.
“Every shelter dog deserves to be seen and given a real chance. This activation gives Kallie, Koney, and Breeze the opportunity to meet a new community.”
“Technology only matters when it solves a real problem. I created this initiative to make Web3 more tangible and more human.”
“Web3 needs more use cases that create meaningful real-world impact.”
